square picture is the photoblog of Latvian photographer Armands Belakovs-Ceimers. Armands describes himself as a serious hobbyist photographer. One look through his gallery shoes just how serious of a hobby photography is for Armands. At the time this review was written the gallery contained only 76 photographs - peanuts by some bloggers standards. Yet, every sinlgle photo on square picture is conciously and meticulously crafted and polished. Armands loves to shoot nature photographs. According to his profile his favorite time of day to shoot is "is when the sun meets the horizon and the light comes to its extremes. Because photography is the art of painting with light." Many of the pictures are of beautiful sunsets and dramatic landscapes but there are also hidden gems that break the mold that Armands has set for himself. Whether you are looking for beautiful sunset shots or stunning black and white landcapes then square picture is sure to have something to offer you.
